Is it just me or is anyone else having trouble with the emoticons display? :?: There are six emoticons that do not display.

They are as follows:

:D
:)
:(
:o
:?

I have not had any problems myself, however the emoticons that you posted are not displayed on my computer.

I will look into it but I would rank the priority as low!

I can confirm this. Those exact emoticons do not work on my machine either. I'm not really worried about the emoticons themselves, but it could be a sign of another problem somewhere in the site.

Well I’m glad to know I’m not the only one experiencing this merciless lack of emotions.

I still don't see them. These are the ones here:

:D :) :( :o :?

Isn't it simply just image files missing?

For example, this one here should be the wink:
images/smilies/icon_wink.gif

and smile:
images/smilies/icon_smile.gif

It sucks, I don't use many emoticons now because of this. I miss being able to smile and wink.

Americalex, you really should get this fixed. While it might not matter so much to the regulars or myself, it could turn away newcomers. Broken images make a site look cheap. I've been working in the world of e-commerce for a lot of years, so this is one of those areas that I've learned a long time ago. Just one broken image on a webpage can make a world of difference in how people view your site.

Here to make it easy for you, I found a link to all the missing pics on another site that uses the same phpBB code, just right click, save them and upload them to the /images/smilies/ folder.

OMG I finally fixed it, thanks Canadian_Ambassador for the instructions and "by the hand" to the finish line.
